And she has 29 lenses published by today! So I’m guessing she’s trying to make 50 lenses for next Giant Squid deadline! I’m cheering for ya!

Fresh Squids on the block!

Posted by willow on 16th October 2008

Today is exactly one month from the day Fresh Squid group was created! This group was created as my attempt to make newcomers welcomed to Squidoo.com as well as to give them some resources that will make their start in lenscrafting easier. For this reason some rules were laid out in Fresh Squid FAQ but also given list of recommended reading (about modules, html, css, promotion, etc.).

Since I didn’t have time to start blog at same time as group like I planned, I’m starting it exactly one month later! Why? There is a rule in Fresh Squid group: “new lensmaster and newcomer to Squidoo gets one month to be featured lensmaster and have one of your lenses in featured lenses!”…. And today is the last day of featuring lensmasters who joined this group on first day it was created!

Let me introduce them once more (they deserve it!):

OldGrampa joined Squidoo.com on September 5 2008 and in this short time he managed to publish 31 lenses! And all of them are completed and quality lenses! Don’t believe me? This was one of his first: Halloween History Trivia And Fun and it’s really fantastic! Seams like this Fresh Squid could apply for Giant Squid for December, 31st deadline!

JudyDunn is one great lady with big heart! Her lenses have that ’something’ that compel you to read it from beginning to end. Proof of this what I just said is best shown in her article “Oh Say Can We See”,…The Crane Project. If you haven’t yet, better visit it! Her idea that was elaborated in this lens is grand!

CosmeticSurgeryIreland introduced to us to Rhinoplasty and not only in promotional and commercial way but also gives some real questions and answers anybody who think about taking this procedure should consider!

danskapia as someone who runs free job board shares with us his expertise in resolving dilemma: Where should I post my resume?. He also links with numerous job hunting sites! So if you plan to change your job, drop by and see his recommendations!

sheryll is person you want to have beside you when you make a decision on visiting London! Why? Because she knows all about London Cheap Deals and Bargains! And who of us is that rich to give away money when we can save it!

kristensup is really Fresh Squid! Why? Because she is only eighteen-year-old! And you would never guess that reading her lenses! She writes about thing she know about and from her experience. That’s how one of her first lenses was created: Dorm Life: The Good, The Bad, The Horribly Ugly – this is great lens for anybody that stayed in dorm (brings back memories) but also for ones that have daughters or sons heading to collage!

ParentCoachGTD teach us (parents) some very valuable facts and ways how to Help Kids Cooperate When We Need Them To! And since he is parent coach and therapist with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, he really know what he is talking about! Check out his lens and learn some new techniques to get your kids cooperate!
