Fresh Squid group on hold…

It’s been really sad but due to recent problems I have encountered in dealing with groups, Fresh Squid group is on hold. No new lenses have been added to group since July. That’s almost 2 months. In this period of time, I tried to ask on SquidU more than once what will happened with groups in future but received no answer. So, sadly, for now – Fresh Squid groups is closed. Or better said frozen in time!

It IS a shame Michelle. Given the work that so many GroupMasters put in to their Groups. I am about to post a message saying I am no longer accepting new members for the time being on both my groups.

I’ll post to say I am still accepting members, but my groups are small enough that I can cope. I couldn’t if the groups were large. I’m getting fed up with the lack of news on groups.

I don’t know exactly what is going on with groups, but I certainly don’t advocate spending a lot of time on something that’s tenuous in any way. I’ve had it happen with too many things online. Put in hundreds of hours, only for it to go away in some manner. Wasted effort. I’m a little trigger happy now, any sign of trouble and I move along quickly.
